About

This blog chronicles my experiences as an American Global MBA in Denmark. My name is Nina and I am a graduate student from Boston, Massachusetts.  I was accepted at the Copenhagen Business School as a participant in the International Entrepreneurship Internship program this fall (‘07).

I have been all over the world-but I have never been to Denmark. I am thrilled to have been chosen to participate in this program. Really.  About 24 graduate students, from all over the world, have been chosen to participate in this program this fall.

Those of us in the program will be given our companies on September 5th. Until then-we do not know who they will be. I understand each company will be “high-technology startup”. Once at our assigned corporation, we will act as individual consultants.

I am also involved in a “virtual teams” project in conjunction with my home University (Suffolk) where we are required to invent, develop and bring a new product to market while we communicate “virtually” throughout the project.  This will also be an ongoing challenge.  Innovation is, therefore, in the forefront of my academic mind (coincidentally, it’s usually in the forefront of my normal mind as well…).

As I write this, I do not know my company, my classmates nor my professors. I am here in Copenhagen trying to get my CPR number, my cellphone and my bike. I learn a little Danish daily and I’ve learned to carry my umbrella-even though it’s August.

I hope you find it interesting as well as entertaining.  Please email me with any questions you might have!

Hilsen,

Nina
